Istisyhad…. Breastfeeding Contest

Age: 2 weeks

Ability: Smiles, Laughs, Holds head up steady without support, Stands with support (can bear weight on legs).

Age: 45 days

Ability: Pakai tudung 🙂

Age: 4 months

Ability: Crawls and her first tooth shows up.

Age: 5 months

Ability: Sits without support,  Imitates the word Allah with ‘Awwah”, Cruises with support of walls or furniture.

Age: 6 months

Ability:  Stands alone without support for a couple of seconds

Age: 7 months

Ability: Takes a few steps, Drinks from a cup

Age: 7 1/2  months

Ability: Walks well

Bila org tanya Ummu Istisyhad, kenapa Reem  sangat cepat perkembangannya? Ummu Istisyhad akan hanya terfikir akan  satu jawapan..

Because she’s fully on Breastfeed.

Reem was exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months and I continued breastfeeding her until she was 10 months old. Sedih juga tak dapat cukupkan 2 tahun penuh, but like the Dr said, Reem is sacrificing for her adik.. Sebak sangat2 bila dengar.

Walau bagaimanapun, mmg Ummu Istisyhad perhatikan perkembangan Reem yang luar biasa, berbeza dgn kanak-kanak normal yg lain. Ada kakak2 yg Ummu Istisyhad jumpa susah hati sbb anaknya walaupun sebaya dgn Reem tapi perkembangannya lebih lambat drp Reem. Ummu Istisyhad akn menjelaskan, “Don’t worry sis, your baby is actually normal. But my baby is a bit extraordinary because she’s exclusively breastfed.”

Nway, itu antara kelebihan yg saya perhatikan apabila saya menyusu badankan Reem sepenuhnya. She learns things very fast, her body immunisation is excellent and high resistant to any obstacles. Umur 8 bulan, Reem dah tau imitate org solat..;))

InshaAllah doakanlah the 2nd one ni, Allah gives me rahmat to bf my baby for at least 2 complete years..Amin..
